What is an API Integration and how do you take my sales data?

An API integration is a connection between us and the backend of your store.

It lets us automatically collect your sales data.  This two-way communication allows Tribexa to stay up-to-date with the latest sales information, ensuring the data used to create your VAT return is accurate.

Currently, SimplyVAT can connect to Shopify, Amazon UK & EU, eBay and WooCommerce. You can also add more than one store for each ecommerce platform. If you do this, make sure to name them differently so you can easily tell them apart in your dashboard.

Please set up your shop connections before your first VAT return to make sure that we have all the data we need to prepare your returns. For security reasons, shop connections expire after a while. We’ll email you when this happens so you can reconnect the expired token.​ 

To meet the deadlines to submit your VAT returns, we retrieve data between the 3rd and 7th of the month for the required period to prepare your return.
