How do I register for Intrastat?

There are two ways to find out that you’ve crossed an Intrastat threshold and need to register: 

1. You’ve been tracking the value of the goods you’ve been moving across international borders within the EU.
2. You’ve been informed by a national authority that you have crossed the threshold and need to register. 

If you’ve been told you need to register by a national authority, we may first double check that you have actually crossed the threshold.  

When we’re sure you have a reporting obligation, we’ll register you for Intrastat and gain access to the relevant filing portals. We might need additional documentation or a power of attorney from you, depending on the country where you crossed the threshold.
