Amazon VAT Transaction Reports Issue

Some buyer VAT numbers weren't included in Amazon's VAT Transaction Report (VTR) for April 2026.

Some buyer VAT numbers were not included in Amazon's VTRs for April 2026. This means that some B2B transactions weren't correctly identified. In turn, your VAT return and the amount of VAT you need to pay might be wrong.

We have pulled an updated report from Amazon and they are currently being processed. We now need to reprocess your VAT returns to make sure the correct VAT treatment is applied to all your sales.

Data Update - What You Need to Do

If you have connected your Amazon store to Tribexa:
You don't need to do anything with your data. We'll re-pull your updated VTR directly.

If you provide your Amazon VTR manually:
Please upload your updated report to Tribexa as soon as possible so we can proceed without delay.

Should you have any issues please contact customercare@simplyvat.com

What This Means For You

While reprocessing is underway, you may notice temporary changes to what you can do in Tribexa.

If you have not yet completed tasks and/or have not approved your return
Your task will temporarily be unavailable until we reprocess your return and it is reissued for approval. We will email you as soon as you are able to confirm approval again.

If you already approved your return and it has been submitted
If required, we will reissue for approval again. Once reprocessing is complete, you may see updated figures.

  • If your VAT liability is nil, you don't have to do anything
  • If your VAT liability is now lower and you have already made payment, the difference should be returned to you. If you have questions about this, please speak with your client manager.
  • If your liability has increased, please ensure any difference is paid

Next Steps

We'll send you an email confirming when your return(s) are ready for approval. Thank you for your patience whilst we work on this. It's our prioirty until we're sure your returns are accurate.
